Puzzles can help children develop many skills, including:
- Fine motor skills: Children learn to pick up and grasp pieces, and move them around into slots, sorting, and fitting them into the correct places.
- Hand-eye coordination: Children learn to place puzzle pieces in the correct order.
- Cognitive skills: Children learn to see the big picture, while still having an eye for the detail. They also learn to distinguish between differences in dimensions, shapes, sizes, and colors.
